2016 LOPen Schedule of Events

Saturday, August 13th, 2016….The Scott and Julie Mawaka Foundation and the LOPen (Phil and Jen Lopez and Brad and Jen Croce) have teamed up to raise money for the Oncology unit at the Akron Children’s Hospital!

This years event will be a star-studded celebrity chef dinner featuring VooDoo Tuna, Brandt Evans, Chef Ray Slagle, Steve Schmilor and a few more surprise chefs! To add to the unbelievable cuisine, Korbel and Brown Forman will be sponsoring the spirits (Herradura, Finlandia, Gentleman Jack, Woodford) with Superior Beverage providing the beer. Don’t forget our friends at Pepsi for the sodas.

For your listening pleasure, LOPen favorites Brother Trouble and multi-million album sellers the Gin Blossoms, will be rocking the night away at the breath taking outdoor amphitheater at Lake Forest CC in Hudson. We will also have our world famous LIVE AUCTION featuring some of the coolest and most unique experiences you could imagine! That’s not it…for a late night snack, feast on 2 of Cleveland/Akron’s most delicious food trucks, Buffalo Wild Wings (Aurora) and Dairy Queen of Twinsburg to get ready for the AWESOME fireworks show from Phantom Fireworks!

Come hang with LOPen regular celebrities Bret Saberhagen, Jim McMahon, Mark Rypien, Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, Larry “Grandmama” Johnson, Ted DiBiase Jr. (to name a few) and the crew while supporting the Akron Children’s Hospital!
